A Chat With… Magda (Centre Coordinator)

Tell us a bit about your role.

I am the Centre Coordinator at Link Spaces which means I am the face that greets you every morning with that annoying smile on her face at 9 A.M. I keep on top of tidiness around the space, deliver your post and greet your visitors. My favourite part, at least so far, is probably getting to speak to everyone. I’m still getting used to the role and everything that comes with it but it’s enjoyable.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment

What has inspired you to join Link?

I have been interested in business and that sort of industry for a while, hence why I studied Business Studies. I want to excel in the industry and grow, so you have to take all the opportunities that come your way. My biggest interest is in real estate and so I’m excited to learn about commercial real estate here.

What is the app that you can’t live without?

Has to be either TikTok or snapchat. I am probably like every young person these days, I love a bit of social media and these two are probably my favourite. Doom scrolling when I’m bored or chatting to my friends, like it becomes addictive!

If you could have dinner with any three people (living or dead) who would they be and why?

All my family here and back home in Poland all at one table. It doesn’t happen often but when it does it creates the best memories for me, and I have the best time. You truly can’t beat time spent with your loved ones.

What is the app you can’t live without?

Instagram. It’s necessary for work but also to alleviate boredom and to relax.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years’ time?

Fingers crossed I will have a family of my own and be successful in sales (maybe here…who knows) and just generally thriving in life. As long as I am happy and healthy and so is my family then really that’s truly all we need.

What is your go-to productivity hack?

Lock in for as long as possible and take breaks to not stress yourself out. I can tell you this worked for me during my studies. It’s hard to do at first, but remove any distractions and as I said, just lock in.

What is your favourite thing about working at Link?

I would have to say speaking and meeting everyone in the office. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming and it’s interesting to find out more about people’s lives and businesses. But of course, who can forget about the cuteness overload from all the dogs in the office – a MASSIVE perk of the place!
